First Time To Bikram Yoga



New to Bikram Yoga?  No problem!

All classes are open to beginner students.  Our certified staff are trained to keep their eye on YOU!  You will be led through the series in a safe and effective way.  The practice grows with you, so as you gain more strength and flexibility, there are always challenges and ways to advance.

What you need to know about your first class:

  • Please arrive to the studio at least 20 minutes before the start of class to register.
  • If possible, print and fill out the registration form (Registration Form).
  • Please arrive on an empty stomach (no heavy meals or food for at least 2-3 hours before class).
  • Please come hydrated!
  • Wear clothes you will be comfortable sweating in.  Form fitting is best! (shorts for men, shorts & tank-top or sports bra for women).
  • All classes are 90 minutes (60 minutes standing, 30 minutes on the floor).  Please plan to stay for the duration of class.
  • Yoga mat & towel are required for each class.  We have mats, towels, and water for rent/sale.   
  • Keep an open mind.  This will be one of the most challenging, but rewarding experiences for you!  Be prepared to work hard and sweat!
